We have a public service ethos at our core. We aim to improve the lives of all residents and businesses in the borough by ensuring that Ealing is an attractive place to live, work and visit. This is achieved by recruiting the right team at the right cost and asking them to work in a way that represents our core values – our 4Cs- Customer comes first, Collaborative, Caring and Committed.

GEL’s values (the ‘4Cs’) set out what we stand for, how we behave at work and the manner in which we will deliver our vision.

  • Customer comes first – remembering our purpose and doing the very best for the people we serve.
  • Collaborative – with workmates and others.
  • Caring – about the health, safety and welfare of our employees.
  • Committed – to delivering services, to innovation, tackling problems and finding better ways of working.

Our Vision

Our vision is for Greener Ealing to be recognised as one of the leading environmental service providers in West London and across the capital and we will achieve this by:

  • Delivering a high quality of service.
  • Supporting the council to make Ealing an attractive place.
  • Delivering best value for money to residents.
  • Ensuring Greener Ealing has the smallest possible environmental footprint to support the council’s aim to achieve carbon-neutral status by 2030.
  • Working collaboratively with the council.

Our Community

We are actively engaged with community groups in the borough, including Mind Food, LAGER Can, Northolt’s Resident Group, Canal and River Trust and Community Payback. We also engage with local schools on a regular basis through school visits, attending career events and mentoring programmes.
